Project description:

The SAIL Depth sounding project is a cooperation between Technolution, Thales, 4tec, Almende, Verenigde Tankrederij Rotterdam (VTR) and is lead by RUPS. THe project will develop a new method to create up to date depth maps of inland waterways in the area of Rotterdam. Ships will intelligently gather and share measurements using innovative techniques from the ICIS project. Ships and harbour authorities will receive information tailored to their specific needs and situation.
