Organization responsible: TNO, Thales Research & Technology, 4TEC People involved: - Ronald Poell
- Tom Rijgersberg
Project description: The project aims to: - determine the state of art for knowledge transformation techniques and the current research executed,
- define the expected added value of a future well established semantic web and semantic networks in this area,
- expand the existing transformation techniques with required new ones,
- evaluate the existing data lineage techniques and create new ones if necessary,
- apply knowledge mapping techniques in parallel and distributed processes building on assets realized in the grid domain,
- analyze the processes of the generation and verification of hypotheses for knowledge mapping
- define and prototype coordination mechanisms for these kind of agents,
- conceive and realize an agent-based mapping mechanism (prototype) that dynamically build broker information,
- analyze the characteristics of the usage of information,
- investigate the mapping requirements in relation to the intended use,
- design and realize a prototype illustrating usage-based automated mapping techniques
